Mentors

Your mentor is a student from DM, typically in the 2nd, 3rd or 4th year, so they know what it is like to start at CBS. During your first year you meet in groups to talk about the academic and social side of being a new student.

Topics for the meetings

• Study techniques, including how to read and take notes
• How to plan and prioritise your time
• Exams and how to prepare for them
• Group work and collaboration
• Coping with demands and expectations
• Social life and meeting other CBS students
